Speaker Bio
Rick Moeckel, LEED AP BD&C, DBIA, is Vice President & Institutional Business Unit Leader for Clayco, a national design-build company. Rick brings over 21 years of experience to the design-build industry. Rick is involved in the project from beginning to end. He is responsible for the overall management of the Institutional Business Unit, which includes projects in higher education, life sciences, and healthcare sectors.
Rick is proficient in all aspects of design and construction, he provides clients with proven solutions and delivers complicated projects on time, on budget and of the highest quality while committed to building lasting relationships in the process. He is a strong advocate for the innovative and collaborative project delivery method that is the foundation of Clayco’s integrated approach. He looks for clients, projects and relationships that understand and embrace the partnering concepts. Rick oversees the Team and is responsible for the success of the project addressing both the Team and the Owner’s perspective. Rick holds a degree in Construction Engineering from Missouri Western State University.
