Speaker Bio
With a background working for a large general contractor on Healthcare IPD projects, Kevin Laut currently serves as the Systemwide Director of Construction Management for California State University, Office of the Chancellor where he supports project teams across the 23 CSU campuses, manages the contract documents for 7 delivery methods, develops various systemwide initiatives, and leads industry engagement activities.
As an increasing growing segment of the construction industry, Kevin also provides a millennial perspective to project leadership, communication, and use of technology to improve project outcomes.
Kevin has a BS in Architectural Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and a MBA from California State University, Long Beach. He is also a licensed General Contractor, Certified Construction Manager, Certified Access Specialist, and a designated Design-Build Professional. He is also the founder and Owner of Shoreline Access Solutions which provides affordable accessibility consulting to local small business owners to help them improve the compliance and inclusivity of their facilities while protecting them from predatory "high frequency litigants."
