Speaker Bio
David Lee joined the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Services (PBS), Office of Project Delivery in 2017. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia and is a licensed Architect. He has been serving as the Director of the Center for Expert Resources and Program Manager of New Courthouse Programs since 2019. In this role, he assumes responsibility for overseeing the planning and execution of new courthouse projects. To date the New Courthouse Program has received a combined appropriation of approximately $2 billion.
Prior to his current position, David served as project architect and senior designer in the private sector. He successfully led diverse teams of professionals on a wide array of projects both within the United States and abroad. Notably, his portfolio encompasses corporate commercial, mixed-use, institutional, and federal projects. Among his most remarkable achievements are the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line Phase II, the International Information Port of China Mobile, and the Excellence Century Center in China.
