Gina Casalinova, LEED AP, Cleveland Clinic
Gina Casalinova has served as an Owner’s Representative in the Office of Construction Management since 2009. In this role, she provides leadership throughout the entire timeline of capital and infrastructure projects. This includes the funding process, design strategy, master planning, and construction. She works with various Users Groups and Institutes throughout the Cleveland Clinic System to ensure a successful outcome for patients and caregivers.
The recent incorporation of LEAN principals into the construction process at the Cleve-land Clinic has reinforced the culture of Respect and Trust. Gina has encouraged her teams of architects, engineers and construction partners to communicate and collabo-rate effectively on both large and small projects. The results have produced stronger Teams and more fun!
Prior to joining The Cleveland Clinic, Gina worked as a Project Manager for Turner Construction in both Cleveland and the New York / New Jersey area. During this time, she was the central point of contact for all aspects of the project. She was responsible for the day-to-day administration of the budget, schedule, and communication among all team members.
Gina graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron. She also obtained a Union Journeyman’s Card after a four year Carpenter’s apprenticeship program. She is an LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) and the Lean Construction Institute (LCI).
