Shawn Maley, Stantec


Prefabrication: Lessons from the Yale Science Building (Approved 1 LU|HSW)


Shawn is a Senior Associate in Stantec’s Science and Technology division. He has specialized in planning and designing Research Facilities for academic and corporate owners for 19 years. Project work includes buildings for leading institutions such as: Rensselaer, Cornell, University of Florida, Corning, PPG and Yale. With a strong understanding of Research and Development facility design, Shawn studies space metric trends and the integration of engineering systems. He is assisting Southbase Construction in developing Laboratory Service Prefabrication concepts for Lincoln Universities HUB project in Canterbury, New Zealand. He is currently the Project Architect on the Yale Science Building. Shawn has a Masters of Architecture from Kent State University.
