Carol Cool, LEED, EFP, MBA, CM Lean
Carol is a Project Manager within Planning, Design and Construction (PDC); a division of Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF) at Michigan State University (MSU). She has been in the construction industry for 28 years overseeing the delivery of over $300 million of in construction. As a Project Manager she is responsible for coordinating the design, construction and turn over phase of the project including coordination of owner work, municipality needs and communicating at a broad range of levels across a university setting as well as in private industry.
She is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Michigan Flint. She is a LEED accredited professional, and is an Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) certified Educational Facilities Professional. Carol is a Board of Directors member a for Construction Owners Association of America – Michigan Chapter (COAA-MI) as well as the co-founder and member of the Advisory Board for a newly formed organization, Women in Skilled Trades (WIST).
