COAA Announces New Board Members at Fall Owners Leadership Conference

          COAA Announces New Board Members at Fall Owners Leadership Conference


Atlanta, GA - Two new members were named and two incumbents were re-elected to the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA) board of directors, as announced at COAA’s Fall Owners Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joining the board is Larry Blouin, executive director of Capital Project Delivery at the University of Chicago and Kyle Majchrowski, senior project executive of Banner Heath in Greeley, Colorado.
 
“Each of these accomplished individuals bring their valuable perspectives and strong leadership experience to COAA. We couldn’t be more pleased to have these individuals become part of the leadership team for COAA,” said Dean McCormick, president of COAA.

Blouin has over 30 years of experience and is an Owner Training Institute (OTI) instructor for COAA.  He is responsible for total project delivery including the preconstruction and construction phases and manages capital projects with budgets up to $275 million.

Majchrowski is responsible for construction and program execution of the capital portfolio within the Western Division of Banner Health, leading project managers, support staff, and managing external CM staff augmentation. He has over 15 years of experience and is a member of the COAA conference committee.

The two re-elected incumbents include:

  • Stuart Adler, director of program management in the Planning, Design, and Construction Department at Emory University
  • Lisa Berkey, director of construction at Penn State

 

The COAA board has 12 directors and one director-at-large that serve as the governing body of the association.
