Branden Clements

Branden Clements is a Senior Lean Manager at Barton Malow. He leads the company’s Lean Operations team, which helps document, standardize, and continuously improve project delivery processes and implement Lean across Barton Malow’s diverse portfolio of projects. During his nearly 20 years of capital project work, he has served in many difference roles, including as an owner’s representative, A/E project manager, project delivery consultant, and project controls manager, which gives him a unique understanding of how various stakeholders and their work is connected across the phases of a project. In his leadership role, he loves facilitating cross-departmental workshops and planning sessions and seeing the light bulb moments when people better understanding what they do and how they can do it better. He believes that small change is the key to improvement, and that cumulatively, it becomes significant over time. He has a dual degree Master of Architecture and Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering & Management from the University of Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Ball State University. His holds the PMP certification, regularly speaks at PMI events, and is a licensed architect in the State of Michigan. He lives near Detroit, Michigan, is an avid tennis player, and is married to his wonderful wife Hasnaa and has a daughter named Talia.
