Professional Bio
Shawn is a Capital Project Manager in the Public Buildings Service Department with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). He currently works in GSA's Southeast Region to deliver new courthouse buildings, major courthouse repair & alterations, and capital security projects. Shawn leads teams in planning, design, and execution to deliver consistent and cost effective projects that balance customer needs while providing the best value to the government and taxpayers.
Shawn previously served as Assistant Director of Infrastructure at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and is experienced with facilities operations, project management, business development, and leading people.
Shawn is the youngest owner to be appointed to the COAA Board of Directors and has served as a Director for more than five years. He also chairs COAA's Education Committee; helped establish the association’s Emerging Professionals Committee; and was instrumental in developing the COAA Emerging Professional Award of Excellence.
