Healthcare Practice Leader
Sid Sanders has extensive experience in healthcare and higher education facilities. He is currently the Healthcare Practice Leader at Jacobs, an international project management firm, where he applies his expertise to lead and deliver complex healthcare projects.
Previously, Sid retired as Senior Vice President for Construction, Facilities Design, and Real Estate at Houston Methodist. During his tenure, he led a $6 billion construction program, oversaw real estate and medical office portfolios, and managed facilities operations across multiple hospitals.
Notable achievements include:
- Leading greenfield hospital projects in The Woodlands and West Houston.
- Developing a master template for community hospitals, establishing a consistent brand and operational model.
- Overseeing significant projects at Texas Medical Center, including the Walter Tower, Outpatient Clinic, and Research Institute Building.
Before joining Houston Methodist, Sid directed facilities and construction for the University of Texas System and managed healthcare construction for a major Texas state agency.
Kurt Neubek, FAIA

Principal, Senior Director
Kurt is an architect and national Healthcare Practice Leader with Page Southerland Page, a design firm with offices across the U.S. and abroad. He began his career as a generalist architect, then specialized at CRSS in pre-design, programming, and planning a wide range of building types across the country. He joined Page 25 years ago and has worked closely with owners to plan and deliver successful projects ranging from small renovations to new greenfield campuses and multi-year capital programs. He has programmed and planned tens of millions of square feet of facilities across North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Kurt is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects, a Fellow in the Health Facility Institute, a Certified Facility Manager with IFMA, a LEED Accredited Professional, Evidence-based Design Accredited and Certified, trained in Lean, and a Six Sigma Black Belt.
A frequent author and speaker, Kurt has presented at more than 80 national and regional conferences primarily about trends and best practices in facility design and project delivery. Kurt is also a part-time instructor for the Lean Construction Institute and serves on the Healthcare Design Editorial Advisory Board and other professional organizations.
