OTI Instructor Bio
Brian is currently an Operations Manager with Hensel Phelps where he has overall responsibility for multiple major construction projects. His responsibilities include client management, safety and quality expectations, schedule performance, employee development and fiscal accountability for each of his projects. He also manages the procurement of his projects with follow through to project completion and the warranty process.
Brian began his career with Hensel Phelps after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1997. He has extensive experience in both the project administration and superintendent side of the commercial construction business. He has a diverse portfolio of both private and public projects with major public sector clients that include the US Army Corps of
Engineers, Department of Energy and the University of Texas. These projects have been procured through a range of delivery methods including traditional design-bid-build and a variety negotiated contracts including design/build and CMAR with a combined value well over $1 Billion.
