Joe served most recently as the Director of Facilities and Construction for National Heritage Academies, with responsibilities for facilities management, construction management, engineering services procurement, and facility operations. NHA operates 90 tuition-free public charter schools in nine states and constructs 4-6 new campuses each year. In his role, Joe is responsible for the construction of NHA’s new facilities and ongoing facility operations at all existing schools.
Prior to joining NHA, Joe was the Manager of Construction Management for Powertrain and Non-Manufacturing at General Motors. During his career, he has spent time on the Owner, General Contractor, and engineering consulting sides of the table, bringing a unique perspective to his position. He holds a master’s degree in management and a Construction Engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University.
Joe served for years as a member of the COAA Board of Directors and on the organization's Conference and Scholarship Committees.
