Professional Bio
Kurt is an architect and Senior Director with Page, one of the country's top architecture/engineering firms, with 2400 people in twenty offices. Kurt has programmed and planned tens of millions of square feet of facilities across the US and internationally. He is a frequent speaker and author on trends in healthcare facilities, strategic facility planning, Lean and Integrated Project Delivery, and getting decisions that stick. He is also a faculty member with COAA and the Lean Construction Institute.

Kurt is an architect and national Healthcare Practice Leader with Page Southerland Page, a design firm with offices across the U.S. and abroad. He began his career as a generalist architect, then specialized at CRSS in pre-design, programming, and planning a wide range of building types across the country. He joined Page 25 years ago and has worked closely with owners to plan and deliver successful projects ranging from small renovations to new greenfield campuses and multi-year capital programs. He has programmed and planned tens of millions of square feet of facilities across North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Kurt is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects, a Fellow in the Health Facility Institute, a Certified Facility Manager with IFMA, a LEED Accredited Professional, Evidence-based Design Accredited and Certified, trained in Lean, and a Six Sigma Black Belt.
A frequent author and speaker, Kurt has presented at more than 80 national and regional conferences primarily about trends and best practices in facility design and project delivery. Kurt is also a part-time instructor for the Lean Construction Institute and serves on the Healthcare Design Editorial Advisory Board and other professional organizations.
