He joined Whiting-Turner in 2013 and has 25+ years of experience in the design and construction industry. Prior to his current role, he spent over a decade working in design and management capacities at architecture and owner’s representative firms, where he has gained a wealth of experience and perspective from all sides of the table.
Working across many facets of the built environment, Nathan has managed over $1 billion in projects in commercial office, healthcare, higher education, local & federal government, residential, retail, science & technology, and warehouse & distribution. He thrives on process improvement and ensuring the balanced integration of all project stakeholders across the entire project lifecycle to keep design and construction excellence at the forefront. Along with daily project and design management activities, Nathan also supports corporate initiatives for design-build contracts and insurance as well as developing best practices for Whiting-Turner’s engagement during the design phase regardless of contract vehicle or delivery method.

He is also a registered architect, a designated Design-Build Professional™, has twice served as the President of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Maryland Chapter, and is involved with the DBIA National Contracts Committee.
