Scott serves as Vice President of Client Relations in the Facilities Management department at Auburn University. He has served in this role since October 2020 and oversees the Client Experience, Communications, and Marketing, as well as management of a $13M Repair & Renovation fund for Auburn University’s Facilities Management department.

Scott has managed design and construction of more than $3B worth of projects. Prior roles in his 25 years at Auburn include Assistant Professor, Construction Project Manager, Assistant Director, Director of Construction Management, and Executive Director of Design and Construction.

Scott’s broader professional career has consisted of managing construction projects for a large general contractor in Chattanooga (TN) and overseeing design and construction for a large, Nashville-based corporate bank.

Scott grew up in both Destin (FL) and Cullman (AL). At the end of his senior year in high school, he joined the Army National Guard and served for eight years building roads & bridges and working with explosives. He holds a B.S. in Building Science from Auburn University and a Master’s in Construction Management from Colorado State University.
