Professional Bio
Steve is a National Quality Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company – a construction management organization headquartered in Baltimore with a strong reputation for integrity and excellence since 1909.
He has experience in several industries, including warehouse, big box retail, infrastructure, entertainment, mission critical, hospitality, government, and military. His previous projects encompass over two billion dollars in contract value. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, Steve joined Whiting-Turner in 2008 as a Field Engineer. He has amassed experience in the field and office with a passion for safety, quality, sustainability, production management, and project controls. He is especially skilled in the development of quality management programs, project scheduling, and application of Lean concepts.
Steve is certified in the Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management program and is a LEED-Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction. He has actively participated in the Lean Construction Institute as a Congress speaker.
